"Why does anyone at all support H.B. 1355? Voter fraud hardly exists, yet H.B. 1355 reaches above and beyond the reasonable amount of voter fraud prevention, to the point where it suppresses minorities, students, people with disabilities, the elderly, etc. H.B. 1355 also does not make the offices of SoE’s any more productive than they already are. H.B. 1355 might help save a little money, but at what cost — the direct suppression of Florida’s voters? I don’t think so. I believe that this hearing was a step towards reclaiming what is ours—our VOTE—a right that was never supposed to be taken away from us in the first place."
